10 Squared Project: "Leaning In"

The 10 Squared Project celebrates light, color, shadow in squared landscapes across the seasons in Amanda's Pennsylvania location. There is something here for everyone who loves nature and celebrating the beauty of local landscapes. All works are painted around all four sides, so no frame is needed.
 
 
The brilliant pink spring trees scattered across the landscape captured Amanda's attention on a drive home in April  2023. She observed closely and snapped a few quick photos. The painting features plenty of palette knife work in an attempt to capture the windy movement of the tree and the clouds. Painted in her studio over the course of one day. 
Shown in Rhode Island Watercolor Society's Limited Palette national juried online exhibition (April-May 2023), and at the Lehigh Art Alliance summer juried exhibition in Bethlehem, PA summer 2023.
